Giving and receiving feedback will improve the capacity of managers and staff to give and to receive feedback—and do so in a way that generates better results in the workplace.
Feedback is a process designed to achieve an improved workplace. Junior staff and managers use feedback in a positive way to open channels of communication within the workplace: to define goals, to establish and run projects, to review results, to manage performance and to improve procedures.
Topics covered in the course
- What is constructive feedback?
- How do different personality types give and receive feedback?
- How do you use active listening to improve understanding and build trust?
- For staff, how do you use feedback to improve your performance?
- For managers, how do you give feedback to motivate and guide your staff?
Giving and receiving feedback is aimed at both junior staff and managers. Trainees improve by practising and by having comment made on their feedback skills.
